Deep purple is the colour, say fashion gods
The elite wore it. The pope has always loved it. Now the models are sporting it. Go for purple, say the fashion gods
Call it amethyst, plum or violet. Purple by any other name will be just as hot. Rich jewel hues are the rage for Fall/Winter 2012, with the biggest international brands exploiting the shade, signalling a comeback of '80s fashion. "From the satiny rich silhouette of Armani Prive to power-hungry retro prints of Prada, purple has suddenly gone from being one of many elegant cocktail colours to the colour of collections," says Latha Sunadh, stylist and editor of a fashion portal.
It's hard to miss, really. Prada's Fall 2012 campaign features models carrying purple bags, lounging in a plush violet upholstered room. British designing star Christopher Kane professed his love for purple with a dazzling leather-trimmed flocked tulle dress, and a pencil skirt to match. House of Holland even propelled the shade into the next season with its Resortwear 2013 collection, featuring a spunky purple and white pinstripe jumpsuit.
Back home, the just-concluded Fashion Week saw Shradha Murarka of Vizyon team a purple panel cutout bodice with a laser-cut rexine black tulip skirt.

The ace designer says he will not go "overboard" and keep his show "restrained and structured".
"I am privileged to be closing the Delhi Couture Week. Customarily, there is enormous pressure on most designers to go over the top during such occasions but I am going to keep my show very restrained and structured," Mukherjee said in a statement.
For the five-day fashion extravaganza, starting Aug 8, the designer will showcase a collection titled " New Moon".

Sunil Sethi, president of Fashion Design Council of India, describes Sabyasachi as "one of the best couture designers" in the country.
He added that "his exquisite designs, grand presentation and the collection at large, tend to create a magic that spellbinds the audience and thus he was an apt choice for the closing show."

EFFECTS OF THE FASHION TO YOUTH.
Fashion has now become unseparate part of youth. Fashion effects to our lives by getting us involved something new. Maybe it depends on the weather or seasonal change.
In my opinion, there are two points positive and negative effects of fashion on youth. First of all, I could say about positive effects of fashion, that girls or boys use of fashion to attract representatives of their contrary part. For example, every young people want to have fashionable dressing couple. They pay attention to one another clothes, hairstyle, jewellery and so on. By this way, they seem having attractive appearance and give pleasure each others. Thus, it cause good relation between them.
After looking at this example, we can see obviously advantage part of fashion for youth. In spite of previous example, we can point out negative effect. At present, youth think only new fashion and this cause spending much money. Therefore, they are not able to take notice other needs. As a matter of fact, my friends or group mates dispense their profits to clothes, hair style and others. Eventually, they are obliged to borrow money from their friends. For instance, clearly shows, that to pursue just the fashion take out hopeless result.
As a result, here to elicit advantage and disadvantage effects of fashion on youth’s life. Every youngster must know this, if they keep with the fashion, they must do it according their opportunities.

Youth Fashion & Lifestyle Trends In India
The term youth refers to persons who are no longer children and not yet adults. Used colloquially, however the term generally refers to a broader, more ambiguous field of reference- from the physically adolescent to those in their late twenties. India Inc. is no doubt becoming younger with 60% of its population under the age of 30 and further depicting a downward trend (where-as most of the developed countries are becoming aged and the work force with creative green mind will be in high demand). About six out of ten household in India have a liberalization children (born and have grown up in the period of liberalization of Indian economy) who acts as a change agent in that household. With the first ever non-socialistic generation's thriving aspiration & new found money power combined with steadily growing GDP, bubbling IT industry and increasing list of confident young entrepreneurs, the scenario appears very lucrative for the global and local retailers to target the Gen Y. Due to these reasons, India is marked as the most prospective destination for the retail investment in the A. T. Kearney's Global Retail Opportunity Report, 2007.

Trends in Fashion among the Teenagers
You can find hundreds of articles or may be more on the internet dedicated to men, women, and kids regarding the latest fashion trends. But very few articles mention about the growing awareness of fashion among the teens. Teenage is an age when you try out different things to create an identity for your self in the society. Teenagers consider clothes as a strong medium to reflect their attitude and emotion. Teenage is the time when you experiment with different types of clothes to set your own style. During teenage there will be constant change in the physical and emotional stage of a person. When it comes to the aspect of clothes, it indicates the mind and thought of a teenager.
An Essay on the Youth and Fashions
Fashions may be defined as way of living, decorating, etc., which are popular today, which are popular today, but which would soon lose their popularity. It is something passing and transitory, a mere craze of the moment to be looked down upon with contempt. For example, tight pants are the fashion today, but only a short while ago broad loose pants were the order of the day. If today a man appears in society wearing broad pants, he would be held up to ridicule, but only a few years ago they were the height of fashion, symbols of good taste and culture.
